Terms of Service for TrueVibe

1. Eligibility

By using TrueVibe, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country).
• You have not been previously suspended or removed from our platform.
• You are not a convicted sex offender.

2. User Accounts & Security

• True Identity: TrueVibe is based on authentic connections. You agree to use the name you use in everyday life and provide accurate information about yourself. (Note: Providing your blood group during sign-up is completely optional and is strictly used for displaying a "Vibe Match" badge on your profile card if you match with others. It serves no medical purpose).
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password. You agree not to share your account access with others.
• Deactivation: You may deactivate or delete your account at any time via the app settings.

3. Our Services

We offer distinct features, and you agree to the specific terms below:

A. Social Feed & Interaction:
We provide a platform for self-expression. You acknowledge that TrueVibe acts only as an intermediary and is not responsible for the opinions or content shared by other users.

B. Personality & "Vibe Match":
TrueVibe uses algorithms based on psychological frameworks (e.g., MBTI) and lifestyle quizzes.
Disclaimer: Matching scores are for entertainment and social discovery purposes only. We do not guarantee successful relationships, compatibility, or professional psychological accuracy.

4. User Content & Permissions

• Ownership: You retain ownership of the photos, text, and content ("User Content") you create on TrueVibe.
• License to Us: By posting content, you grant TrueVibe a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, and worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, publicly perform or display, and create derivative works of your content. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems.

5. Code of Conduct

We maintain strict community standards. You explicitly agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Impersonate others or provide false information.
• Harass, bully, threaten, or defame any person.
• Post content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable.
• Post unauthorized commercial communications (spam).
• Attempt to reverse engineer our app or scrape data.

TrueVibe has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.

Violation of these rules may result in the immediate ban of your account without warning.

6. Reporting, Blocking & Moderation

• Report: You can report any post or profile using the "Report" option in the app. To report abusive comments or messages, report the user from their profile.
• Block: You can block any user at any time. Blocked users cannot contact you or see your content.
• Our Response: We review reports within 24 hours. Content that violates these Terms is removed, and the user who posted it may be suspended or permanently banned.

7. Copyright & Intellectual Property

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. You may only post content (including photos, videos, music, and text) that you own or have permission to use.

For copyright owners

Reporting Copyright Infringement: If you believe content on TrueVibe infringes your copyright, please send a notice to copyright@truevive.app that includes:

• Your name and contact information (email and phone number).
• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• A link to, or clear description of, the content on TrueVibe that you claim is infringing.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Our Response: When we receive a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the reported content and notify the user who posted it.

If your content was removed

Counter-Notice: If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same email address explaining why the content should be restored.

Repeat Infringers: Accounts that repeatedly post infringing content will be permanently terminated.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TrueVibe, its developer, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of these Terms or your use of the Application.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate your access to TrueVibe at any time, for any reason, without prior notice, particularly if we believe you have violated the letter or spirit of these Terms.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

"As Is" Service: The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will always be safe, secure, or error-free, or that it will function without disruptions or delays.

No Liability: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUEVIBE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, INCURRED BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. By continuing to use TrueVibe after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh.
